For kindergarten holidays, parents are often asked to prepare themed performance costumes for their children. If the holiday takes place before the New Year, then the shops are full of a large selection of different outfits. But at other times, finding a carnival costume is not so easy. You have to be resourceful and do it yourself. A pirate costume does not need to be sewn, it can be made from ready-made items. It's just that these things should be related to the pirate theme. The main thing here is to create the right image.

Step 1
A sailor's T-shirt is suitable as a top. It also comes in very small children's sizes. If you haven't found such a T-shirt, then in the summer collections there are models with anchors and trendy skulls. If the child grew out of jeans, and you did not have time to throw it away, you can sew pirate pants from them. It is enough to shorten the bottom, slightly loosen the threads and make the effect of frayed. Finish the ensemble - knee-highs or tights with multi-colored stripes.
Step 2
Now the outfit needs to be complemented with accessories. Tie a bright scarf around your neck. Put plastic multi-colored bracelets on your hands. There are many options for a headdress. You can wear the knitted skull cap, which are now on sale everywhere. Or you can build a real pirate hat. If your grandfather's felt hat is lying on the mezzanine, it's time to give it a new life. Sew a fringe around the edge of the hat and insert a feather. You can make a feather yourself by cutting it out of colored paper.
Step 3
What a pirate without a sword. Insert the string into the loop of jeans, to which you tie the sword scabbard. If the sword interferes with the dance numbers, you can attach a small plastic knife.
Step 4
But what to wear on your feet is chosen based on the wishes of the teacher. Many people demand that children be in Czech shoes - it is more convenient to dance in them. If there are no such requirements, then black moccasins can be worn on your feet. If the role requires a complete transformation, then you have to sweat in black rubber boots. But these shoes can be worn indoors for 5-10 minutes for older children.
