What you need?

The costume of a star consists of a dress or costume (for example, consisting of trousers and a sweater), a headdress - a crown in the form of a star and shoes decorated with stars. By the way, modern sneakers or sneakers are suitable as shoes for a suit with trousers, because decorating them with stars is now very fashionable. If, nevertheless, there is no suitable dress or suit at hand, it can be sewn from shiny knitwear according to the main pattern or even without it at all (according to the technology of the Greek dress). To make a crown, you need:

- dense but flexible cardboard;

- velvet paper;

- paper-based foil;

- PVA glue;

- drawing tools.

Dress

For a star dress, you need a piece of shiny jersey that's twice the length of the garment, plus a few centimeters to process. The width can be arbitrary, you just put the extra pieces into folds. Fold the cut in half. On the fold line, there will be shoulder seams and a neck slit. Find the middle of this line, set aside the half-girth of the neck, divided in half, and make a cut.

Try on the blank for the future star, lay folds over the shoulders, sweep them. You can make a couple more rows of folds - along the lines of the chest and waist. Sew on the folds, sew side seams, and overlock the hem and neckline. If desired, the dress can be decorated with several stars made of beads, beads or foil.

Crown

Draw a star on the cardboard. The number of rays can be any. The beams may vary in length, it will be even better. Trace the workpiece onto the foil. There is no need to make allowances. Glue the blanks. The back of the crown can be made of thin colored paper. Cut a strip of cardboard slightly longer than the circumference of your head. Cover it with foil. Sew the strip into a ring. Sew a star in place of the seam. If the threads are not very suitable in color, mask the seam with a pattern of beads or beads.

Star Boy Cloak

To make a star costume for a boy, go for a solid color tracksuit, preferably black. Decorate it with foil stars. Make the crown in the same way as for the girlish star outfit. The star boy will also need a raincoat - velvet or shiny jersey. It is done pretty quickly.

Cut out a circle from the cut, the radius of which is equal to the length of the cloak with the radius of the notch for the neck added to it. Calculate the radius of the groove using the formula r = L / 6/28, where L is the girth of the neck. Add a couple more centimeters to the calculated radius for assemblies. Cut out a circle and a notch, make a cut. Tape the neckline and edges of the cut, and hem the bottom. The cloak can be fastened with one large button at the neckline. You can also do it with strings. You can decorate it with foil stars, and sew tinsel along the contour.
