They say that a secret only remains a secret when fewer than two people know about it. Have you been entrusted with a secret, and now you cannot sleep peacefully, knowing what others do not yet know? Do your best not to blabber.
Instructions
Step 1
Don't ask other people, even those closest to you, to tell you secrets. This applies not only to those who are drawn to blabber, but also to reliable keepers of secrets. The fact is that as soon as you receive information classified as "secret", you automatically become one of the "special" people who know more than others. But being special is not interesting until no one knows about it. Therefore, a person seeks to tell another, not forgetting to add: "Just don't tell anyone."
Step 2
If someone tells you their secret, it means that they trust you. He has no one to share his joys or experiences that no one should know about at the moment. Keep in your head the realization of this person's immense respect for you, because you are the only one who knows his secret. If you love this person, then you will not betray him, recklessly turning the secret into the main news of the day. Sooner or later, this will lead to a loss of trust and friends.
Step 3
Knowing the secret, know how to distinguish compromising questions from inquisitive people who will probably try to test you. Keep your tone polite and calm, and come up with a series of streamlined phrases. For example, say that you are good friends with N, but not enough to know all his (her) secrets, or argue that you did not communicate with N about this topic. Or just keep a secret by shifting the focus to other things.
Step 4
Speak out to your own diary. It is clear that keeping someone else's secret is a kind of torture. After all, the mystery makes you lie to others. In order not to lose all friends who do not like talkers, write your thoughts and experiences in a separate notebook. On its pages, you can paint all the details in the brightest colors. But you must be sure that these records will not be read, otherwise the secret will quickly become public. And it will be very difficult for you to prove to the person who confided in you that the diary is to blame for everything, and not you.
