Dysbacteriosis is a disease caused by an insufficient number of beneficial bacteria and the colonization of the intestine with harmful microflora. For infants, its main reasons are earlier weaning, feeding with unadapted formulas, weakened immunity due to previous diseases and antibiotic treatment.
Instructions
Step 1
The best way to prevent this disease is breastfeeding, because this is how the child's body is populated by beneficial bacteria, immunity is strengthened, the child receives the optimal amount of vitamins and nutrients. If breast milk is not available, then choose artificial formula with the presence of lactic acid bacteria in the composition (adapted baby food). If your baby is restless, suffers from increased gas production, bloating, often spits up, he has loose stools (foamy consistency with the smell of rot or fermentation) or constipation, cries after feeding, you should urgently start treating the disease, namely, restore the intestinal microflora.
Step 2
First you need to reduce the number of pathogenic bacteria. Before you start doing this, be sure to get tested for the quantitative and qualitative composition of the microflora. Based on the results, you will find out which bacteria colonize the child's intestines, and which ones are absent or present in less quantity than is necessary for the normal digestion process. Show the results to the doctor, on the basis of them he will prescribe you a special complex of bacteriophages with which you will give the baby to drink. Bacteriophages will provide favorable conditions for the engraftment of beneficial microorganisms in the infant's intestines.
Step 3
To reduce the amount of pathogenic microflora, drugs are prescribed to enrich the digestive system with beneficial microorganisms. These are products containing live bacteria - lactic acid bacteria, bifidobacteria, etc. Add them to your baby's food, expressed breast milk or artificial formula. Prerequisites for the treatment of dysbiosis are an increase in the child's immunity and the creation of a favorable environment for recovery. To do this, strictly observe the sterility of the dishes from which you feed the baby, and also monitor the hygiene of the mammary glands if the baby is breastfed. Take your child for walks in the fresh air daily, and use air baths during the warmer months. Ventilate the nursery regularly.
