Mathematics is a leading science that requires precision and care. To teach your baby not to be afraid of her, choose the right tasks. The first lessons should be entertaining in order to fully interest the child.
Necessary
- - ruler;
- - pencil;
- - eraser;
- - pen;
- - illustrations.
Instructions
Step 1
First, buy your child a normal ruler, pens, pencils and notebooks. Now move on to building a small math library. Place textbooks on mathematics, solutions to individual problems, additional manuals and collections of problems in it. When choosing literature, be guided by the age of the child, his general level of development and the peculiarities of mastering the material.
Step 2
When the preparatory phase is complete, move on to activities that at first should not last longer than thirty to forty minutes. Take short breaks during them, every fifteen to twenty minutes. Spend breaks in the form of physical education, which will help the child to be distracted, unwind. Do not pause for too long, as this will completely disorganize your baby.
Step 3
For the first lessons, choose tasks in a playful way, as they will help to lure the student. Choose examples and charades that have some kind of explanatory drawing attached. Also, be sure to illustrate all the examples and tasks to be solved in order to attract the child's attention, turn on his imagination.
Step 4
If your child enjoys solving simple problems, move on to more complex examples. At first, use the help of ready-made tutorials. Give the student the opportunity to spy on the correct course of solving a problem or example, and then choose a similar task for him. During the decision, prompt the kid, direct the train of his thoughts in the right direction. At the same time, be sure to comment on each action, explaining to the child why it is considered right or wrong.
Step 5
When the baby learns the basic principles of working with examples or problems, continue the classes, but in a different direction. Give the child examples that he solves on his own, explaining each step out loud. In the course of the decision, correct his mistakes, correct shortcomings. Spend more time with such activities - and in a short time the child will be perfectly versed in math.
