Make a pair of elephants in love: the girl Mini and her loyal and loving friend Dinko. They live in a magical land where goodness and love reign. And also, when we fall asleep, they come to us and bring sweet dreams on their barely noticeable wings. Mini whispers various wonderful stories in your ear, and Dinko protects our sleep and makes it strong, sweet and magical.
You will need: a balloon, scissors, newspaper, paste, breadboard knife and rubber gloves.
Inflate the balloon to the size you want to make elephants. Using the papier-mâché technique, we begin to glue the balloon. We sculpt ears and a tail from newspaper and paste. We sculpt a trunk from the newspaper. When it dries up, carefully glue it with paste and newspaper to the elephant. Do not forget to blind the legs. Then once again glue the entire elephant with several layers of newspaper and paste. When the baby elephant is completely dry (this is 6-12 hours), we begin to paint it with acrylic paint. First, paint over the main colors: pink and blue, and then paint all the small details.
For a baby elephant, you can also make a wonderful cute bow, also made using the papier-mâché technique. When the baby elephant is dry from the paint, we cover it with acrylic varnish so that the color does not fade and the work retains its colors and brightness for a long time.
