It is necessary

  • Fish puree:
  • - 60 g fish fillet;
  • - 1 tsp. milk;
  • - 1 tsp. vegetable oil.
  • Fish pudding:
  • - 100 g of fish fillets;
  • - ½ pcs. boiled potatoes;
  • - 2 tbsp. l. milk;
  • - 2 tsp vegetable oil;
  • - ½ pcs. eggs.
  • Fish meatballs:
  • - 60 g fish fillet;
  • - 10 g of wheat bread;
  • - ¼ egg yolk;
  • - 1 tsp. vegetable oil.

Instructions

Step 1

Since fish is an allergenic food, introduce it into your baby's diet starting at 10 months of age. For the first time, limit yourself to 1 teaspoon of mashed potatoes (5 grams), preferably in the morning (for breakfast or lunch), so that you can track the baby's reaction to the new product. Gradually increase the portion, by the year - up to 60 grams, at 2 years old - up to 100 grams of fish. Cook fish for your baby more than 1-2 times a week.

Step 2

At the initial stages of introducing into the child's diet, use low-fat fish varieties - cod, hake, pollock, pike perch. A little later, you can give your baby moderately fatty varieties of fish - sea bass, catfish, carp, herring. Fatty fish varieties - pink salmon, chum salmon, halibut, mackerel, sturgeon, should be included in the child's menu after 3 years.

Step 3

If your child is prone to allergic reactions, eliminate fish from his diet altogether or feed it with caution after consulting a pediatrician.

Step 4

Fish puree

Rinse the fillets thoroughly and boil in a little water for 20-30 minutes. Refrigerate and mince. Add milk and butter to the fish fillet, mix thoroughly and bring to a boil over low heat. Store the finished puree in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.

Step 5

Fish pudding

Mash hot boiled potatoes thoroughly, add milk, butter and mix. Boil the fish fillets in salted water for 20-30 minutes, chop finely and add the beaten egg. Mix all products thoroughly, put in a mold and cook in a steam or water bath for about 30 minutes.

Step 6

Fish meatballs

Pass the fish fillet and soaked bread through a meat grinder 2-3 times. Add egg yolk and vegetable oil to the resulting mass. Mix everything thoroughly, form small meatballs and place in a saucepan. Fill them halfway with water and simmer for 20-30 minutes over low heat.
