Cheating is a phenomenon that is quite common in modern families. There is an opinion that men will cheat on their wives much more often, however, female betrayal is becoming the rule rather than the exception.
Statistics of female and male infidelities
There are some statistics, according to which it was found that every third family does not differ in loyalty to their soul mates, and women have recently been trying not to yield to their husbands in infidelity. The difference between such actions lies only in the fact that in 50% of cases, girls terminate relations with their spouses, but men leave the family for their mistresses only in 5% of cases.
If we look at more specific statistical figures, in Russia 21% of women have at least one relationship outside of marriage. For men, this figure is 76%. Another opinion poll showed that 41% of the fair sex cheat on their soulmates, but among men, the number of unfaithful husbands reaches almost 61%.
Reasons for female infidelity
Women cheat on their soulmates for various reasons. As a result of the need for new emotions, sensations and feelings, about 20% of girls decide to cheat. Guys commit betrayal for this reason 35% of the time.
On rare occasions, people commit adultery based on the opinions and experiences of their friends and acquaintances. However, the rates of such cases are negligible. For women, these figures are 1.5%, and for men - 0.6%.
The lifestyle of the parents also plays an important role in the behavior of the two spouses. If both mom and dad did not remain faithful to each other, the probability of their child committing adultery reaches 80%.
Another reason for female infidelity is revenge on your lover for his infidelity. Women do this in 10.3% of cases, and the percentage of male betrayal for this reason is 1.1%.
In addition, a bad attitude or aggression from your significant other can push you to marital infidelity. 9% of women decide to cheat for this very reason, while men do so in 6% of cases.
Another impetus to marital betrayal can be the usual physical dissatisfaction of one of the spouses. 12.5% of women seek satisfaction on the side, while among men this number is 8.8%.
Prolonged separation from a loved one pushes 9.6% of girls and 11.6% of guys to have an affair on the side.
10% of men and 6% of women cheat on their soulmates for the purpose of self-affirmation, conviction of their attractiveness and uniqueness. But random circumstances push 12% of husbands and 5% of wives to betray.
