Currently, the shelves of shops and supermarkets are filled with a wide range of milk formula. All of them are intended for feeding infants in case of lack or absence of breast milk. Infant milk formulas are maximally adapted for breast milk. However, it is worth remembering that the health of your baby depends on how you dilute the infant formula correctly.

Instructions
Step 1
Before preparing the milk formula, prepare the utensils for the baby and the tools that will be used during the preparation process. These are various bottles, cups, spoons and even small bowls specially adapted for baby feeding. Wash them thoroughly in boiled warm water, you can use baking soda, as it can destroy harmful bacteria. Use special brushes to wash hard-to-reach areas, such as the bottom of a bottle.
Step 2
Next, you need to sterilize the containers intended for feeding the baby. Boil baby dishes: bottles, nipples, fasteners, caps, spoons and special syringes. Sterilize containers and accessories in the same container, do not use it for other purposes.
Step 3
After carefully preparing the container for the milk mixture, you can safely start preparing it. Be sure to read on the product label about the composition, preparation method and proportional amount of the mixture. It is necessary to dilute it, strictly observing the instructions of the manufacturer of this product, as well as the rules of hygiene. After all, the health of the baby is above all.
Step 4
There are mixes with different cooking modes. Some are simply diluted with warm boiled water, others must be steamed with boiling water. The optimum temperature of the ready-to-eat formula should not exceed the temperature of the human body, that is, 36 degrees. According to the folk method, checking the temperature of any baby food is done in a very simple way - drop a few drops on the back of your hand, thereby determining whether it is possible to feed the child with it or if it should be cooled a little more.
Step 5
Store the already diluted mixture, if it has not been used in full, in the refrigerator, but no more than a day. In it, harmful bacteria can still persist and multiply. At room temperature, experts advise keeping the diluted mixture for no more than two hours. However, the best option is to dilute the milk formula just before feeding the baby. This will prevent bacteria from growing in baby food and keep your baby safe.
