Not only for the New Year's party, parents have to make carnival costumes. A children's birthday or a parent's anniversary may well be the reason for a theatrical performance or a little costume joke. This is where you have to sew a suit, for example, for Petrushka.

Necessary

To sew a parsley suit, you will need a fabric of red, blue and yellow colors, it is better if it is satin. Also for the cap, you will need a stuffing material, it can be cotton wool. To decorate the costume, purchase braid, sequins

Instructions

Step 1

We begin our work with a pattern of trousers, for this we take measurements from the child. When applying them to paper, do not forget to leave 2 cm on each side for a seam. Remember that the legs should be different colors - red and blue!

Pants should be straight.

Step 2

We attach our fabric to the sketch and cut out a detail of the trousers. We also do it with the second leg. After that, we sew the details.

Step 3

Trying on and adjusting the pants to the desired size.

Step 4

Sew on the braid just above the knees, decorate the trousers with sequins.

Step 5

Now let's get down to the shirt. Sew a standard shirt using yellow fabric, tape it around the sleeves, sew sequins all over the shirt.

Step 6

Now let's move on to the cap. Take a regular baby hat. Cut strips about 5 cm wide from fabrics of different colors and sew them around the circumference of the cap, alternating each color.

Step 7

After that, make a triangle pattern, do not forget the seam allowances.

Step 8

Cut parts from different fabrics one by one, sew the edges.

Step 9

Stuff the cones with cotton or some other material to hold the shape.

Step 10

Sew them, after which the cones need to be sewn to the headdress and decorated with sequins. From fabric of different colors we cut out two round-shaped shreds, sew two parts together, stuff with cotton wool and sew to the cones.

Step 11

Don't forget about the belt. We construct a sash from the remaining fabric, decorate it with braid. The suit is ready!
