Step 1
Start laying speech skills in your child from the age of two months. It is at this stage that the first sounds of the baby are heard. Talk to him more often - walk and babble. At this age, he reacts better and more emotionally to babble, and a desire arises in him to repeat after you. Just be in your baby's field of vision so that he can see your lips. It is advisable to immediately begin to associate, in his understanding, speech with hand motility. Step 2
From 6 months on, make it a habit to constantly comment on your actions or describe everything that happens around you. This is done so that the baby learns to draw parallels between words and actions. Say the phrases while looking your child in the eyes, slowly and in a calm voice.
Step 3
In a year, do not let everything take its course! At this age, the child will switch to sign language, and when he points to the toy, do not give it away immediately. Stretching it out, ask to say "Give!" Do not react to pleading gestures, force the child to speak to you. Then complicate the phrases a little, ask what toy or object he wants, why, etc.
Step 4
At home and while walking, continue to describe everything you see to your baby. Read books together, consider and discuss the plots of the pictures. All this is aimed at enriching children's passive vocabulary. These are the words that he knows, but has not yet uttered. The size of this stock of words determines how rapidly the further process of development of children's speech will take place.
Step 5
Enjoy every word your child says, even if it's just an attempt at a word! Let him see what thereby evokes positive emotions. But no words distorted by you! Otherwise, the baby will have no need for correct pronunciation. Praise but correct the child by saying the correct version.
Step 6
If the child already knows how to point to something with words - do not try to anticipate his desires. Let him try to explain what he needs, provoke him to dialogue.
Step 7
Constantly ask your baby questions and answer them yourself. Let the initial questions be very simple: "Who is this?", "What is this?" Then complicate the semantic content a little: "What is it doing?", "What color?" and others. Answers should be in only one simple word that can be mastered by the kid. Gradually increase the pause between question and answer so that the child has time to answer on his own.
