When you start taking your child to kindergarten, your toddler should have a daily routine similar to that of a preschool educational institution. Find out how much time is allotted for a quiet hour. As a rule, children sleep 2-2.5 hours during the day. The child's sleep should be 10-14 hours per day (depending on age). Calculate your normal amount of sleep at night.
Step 2
Put your baby to bed before you go to bed. It is very important for a child to get enough sleep, as it affects his nervous, motor system. If the little man doesn’t go to bed on time, think of an activity after which you need to fall asleep. Read a fairy tale to your baby or sing a lullaby. The child needs to make it clear that a tradition has emerged, followed by a night's sleep.

Before you put your baby to bed, be sure to ventilate his room. Make sure that the temperature in the room where the baby's crib is located does not exceed 19 degrees.

Provide the necessary conditions for the baby to sleep comfortably. If the child is afraid of the dark, turn on a light that provides twilight. Give your little man his favorite toy. As a rule, most children have teddy bears, bunnies, dogs and the like. Next to an inanimate friend, the baby will not be bored.

Try not to disturb your baby's sweet dreams with extraneous sounds. Provide your baby with physical activity in the evening so that the little person is tired. Keep in mind that an empty stomach can also make it difficult for you to fall asleep, so feed your baby ahead of time.

When you wake up in the morning, stroke your baby's head. Say a few sweet words. If the child after the phrase: "It's time to get up" categorically refuses to do this, interest him. For example, tell the little person that "now you are going to go see a cat or a dog together." Usually children love pets and are happy to get up.

Remember that getting up suddenly is harmful to your baby's health. The transition from sleep to wakefulness should be smooth. Therefore, allow your child to lie down for a while and soak up their warm crib. After all, you yourself are not against it.
