Slime is a popular anti-stress toy that, due to its plasticity, can stretch and acquire bizarre shapes. A ready-made slime can be bought in a store at a price of 50-500 rubles, depending on its manufacturer and volume. However, it is much more interesting to make a slime with your own hands, using simple recipes and ingredients that are found in every home.
Making slime according to the best recipes presented does not take much time, while slimes are made from improvised means. To give the necessary plasticity, it is important to observe the dosage of the substances used and the preparation technology. If desired, you can add a dye to each slime, while using both food and gouache, watercolor and other paints.
Recipe 1
You will need:
- Thick glue (for example, PVA) - 4 tablespoons;
- Shaving foam - 4 tablespoons;
- Washing gel (for example, Persil) - 2 teaspoons.
Cooking method:
- Introduce thick glue into the container, add shaving foam and mix thoroughly. In this case, the mass will take on an airy form.
- Next, add the washing gel. In this case, it acts as a thickener. But, unlike glue, the gel content can be slightly adjusted.
- As the gel is added, the slime will become denser and you can knead it not in a container, but in your hands. Slime is formed until it becomes the desired density.
Recipe 2
You will need:
- Water - 3 teaspoons;
- Dish detergent - 1 tablespoon;
- PVA glue - 4 teaspoons;
- Flour - 1 tablespoon;
- Soda -2 pinches;
- Naphthyzine - 5 drops.
Cooking method:
- Pour water at room temperature into the container, then add any detergent.
- Stir the mixture quickly until bubbles appear. Add glue, stir.
- Add flour and baking soda. Now the composition must be intensively mixed until it acquires plastic properties.
- Often the above steps are enough to get a slime. But if the mass has not acquired the desired shape, Naphtizin is added as a thickener. The mass is kneaded again until tender.
Recipe 3
You will need:
- PVA glue - 1 tube;
- Shaving foam - 15 tablespoons;
- Dye (gouache, watercolor) - optional;
- Thickener (Sodium Tetraborate, Naphthyzin) - 5 drops.
Cooking method:
- Pour PVA glue into the container, then add shaving foam. Stir the mass.
- If you wish, you can use a dye, in this case, watercolors, gouache and so on are used. When using dyes, it is important to mix the mass well at this stage.
- Now you need to pour the thickener. Next, mix the composition until it acquires the plastic properties of the slime. This is usually not a problem with thickeners.
Recipe 4
You will need:
- Liquid soap or shampoo - 4 teaspoons;
- PVA glue - 1 tube;
- Toothpaste - 1/2 teaspoon;
- Dye - optional;
- Soda -1 pinch.
Cooking method:
- Pour liquid soap or shampoo into the dishes, add glue and mix the mass.
- Squeeze out the toothpaste and add any dye, then be sure to stir.
- The last ingredient is soda. After adding, knead the composition until a plastic slime is formed.
Recipe 5
You will need:
- Clear shampoo - 2 tablespoons;
- Transparent shower gel - 2 tablespoons;
- Stationery glue - 1 tube;
- Dye - optional;
- Soda -1 pinch;
- Naphthyzine - 5 drops.
Cooking method:
- Pour shampoo into a container, squeeze out the shower gel, mix.
- Add office glue. At this stage, you can dye the slime by adding any dye. Mix thoroughly.
- In order for the slime to acquire a characteristic plastic shape, add soda and mix again. If the mass does not stretch enough, Naphthyzin can be added.
Cooking slime is easy for children, but work with detergents and other chemicals should be done under the supervision of adults.
