Gossip and rumors have recently become the rule rather than the exception. People love to discuss others, and the facts they know are embellished several times over. However, this does not have to be tolerated. You may well prove that you are not at all the person you are believed to be.
Instructions
Step 1
In order to refute all the rumors that go around about you, you should try to create an impeccable reputation for yourself. People who meet or communicate with you for a long time should see what kind of character you have. Be a decent and helpful person, always ready to help someone else. Do good deeds for free and never judge other people. Remember, if someone has done evil, it will definitely come back to him in life. Your conscience must be clear. Honesty and openness are also important criteria. Any of your lies can turn against you. Always admit your mistakes and do not hide any truth. If people around you see you as a sincere and kind person, they will never believe gossip. They will immediately understand. even if you did not do a very good deed, you would not look for excuses for yourself, but honestly admit it.
Step 2
If it happened that your relatives and friends still believed the rumors, try to find out who exactly became the distributor of false information. and talk to him. Surely there will be some explanation for such human behavior. Perhaps, by some of your actions, you yourself provoked empty guesses about you. Explain to the one who slandered you that he is deeply mistaken, considering your behavior unworthy, tell about the true reasons for what you did. After realizing their mistake, a person with a conscience is likely to apologize to you and tell others that they were wrong.
Step 3
If a person flatly refuses that he mistakenly became a distributor of false information, you should not go out in public and try to find an excuse for yourself. You are unlikely to be believed. Choose a friend who does not know how to keep secrets, arrange a heart-to-heart conversation with him and with regret and resentment tell about how you were unfoundedly slandered. Don't hide your emotions. Most likely, your sociable interlocutor in the very near future will tell everyone that you have become a victim of someone else's slander.
Step 4
Another way to establish justice is to talk openly with the abuser and the people who believed him. Talk it all together, you don't have to deny everything. Better let the gossip himself tell everyone in front of you why he said certain things about you. His arguments must necessarily be substantiated. If he cannot provide some evidence of his gossip, everyone will understand that he was just spreading rumors.
