Pregnancy is not a disease and certainly not a reason to refuse intimacy with a loved one. Observing simple rules and exercising caution, you can enjoy all the joys of sex life without prejudice to the unborn child.
Instructions
Step 1
As you know, pregnancy is divided into three stages - trimester. Each trimester has its own characteristics, this also applies to intimate life. The first trimester is considered the most dangerous, so many gynecologists advise to completely exclude sexual intercourse for this period. However, a complete rejection of sex during pregnancy is justified only if there is a threat of termination.
Step 2
It is also not recommended to have sex in the case of low attachment of the ovum in the uterus. With this in mind and after learning about pregnancy, it is worth visiting the doctor first and making sure everything is in order. It is worth refraining from intimacy in the first trimester at 4, 8 and 12 weeks - at the time when menstruation should have begun if pregnancy had not occurred.
Step 3
In general, sex during pregnancy in the first trimester, as a rule, is more needed by men. Women during this period often suffer from toxicosis, become drowsy and irritable, interest in sex practically disappears. Many women also experience vaginal dryness, in which case lubricants should be used during intimacy.
Step 4
The second trimester can be called the most favorable for sex: the ailments associated with toxicosis are already behind, and the stomach is not yet big enough to interfere with a full sexual life. In addition, hormonal changes occurring at this time contribute to obtaining more vivid sexual sensations. You don't have to worry about the baby either: he is already large enough and firmly entrenched in the uterus. You can even say that sex in the second trimester is useful, as it evokes positive emotions in the expectant mother. Of course, this only applies to the normal course of pregnancy. If there are any pathologies, you should not risk it.
Step 5
In the third trimester, you need to make love carefully, without sudden movements and deep penetration. A noticeably grown belly by this time will significantly reduce the choice of positions for sex. The most successful position is considered to be on the side, in which the man is behind. In this case, the pressure on the abdomen is minimal. Sex before childbirth in a couple of weeks should be stopped altogether, so as not to provoke premature birth. Most likely, the woman herself will feel that she no longer experiences the former need for intimacy, since even small physical exertion leads to shortness of breath and is very exhausting. If a woman goes over the pregnancy for more than the prescribed period, sex can be resumed to stimulate the birth process. The method is effective: many women in this way went straight from the matrimonial bed to the hospital.
