Young mothers often find themselves in a difficult situation when they need to buy clothes for their baby. Each piece of clothing, be it tights, hats, suits, shoes, has its own size designation, and the designation system of Russian manufacturers differs from the European one. Our tips will help you determine the size of your child's clothes and choose the thing that suits him.
Necessary
- - child;
- - tape measure;
- - paper and pen.
Instructions
Step 1
The size of the headgear is not difficult to find out, just measure the circumference of the child's head, this figure will be written on the hat or cap. However, if possible, when choosing a headdress, teach the shape of the child's head, since if the head is elongated, a wide and shallow hat may not fit the child
Step 2
To determine the size of your baby's tights, measure your baby's height, bust and foot length. When buying tights, look, these numbers are indicated by a comma, for example, 74, 48, 12 (these tights are suitable for a child 1 - 1, 5 years old with a height of 74 cm). If you are taking tights or romper for a chubby toddler, take a larger size, for example, with a size of 86
Step 3
To find out the size of your baby's shoes, measure your baby's foot. To do this, at the end of the day (when the foot size increases from constant walking), put on the child socks with which you plan to wear shoes. Then place it on a piece of paper and circle both legs. Measure the length of your prints, rounding up. Take the result from the leg that turned out to be larger and determine the size from the table. Do not buy shoes for growth, so that it will be enough for the next year, anyway, the child will grow up imperceptibly and will not fit into it by the end of the next season, and flat feet will work at the same time
Step 4
Find out the size of the socks depending on the length of the leg. If you don't even remember this figure, take a measuring tape with you and measure your socks right in the store
Step 5
To determine the size of children's clothing, measure the child's height, bust, waist, hips, arm length to the wrist. Then try to determine the size from the table. If the measured data leads you to multiple results, choose the larger one. Don't wear too big clothes for your baby, even though he is growing very quickly.
