This is how nature arranged that from the very birth, the child feeds on mother's milk, and it is this that is the best food for him until a certain age. But modern life dictates its own rules and laws to us. Sometimes the mother may simply not have enough milk, or it may not be enough. And that's when the feeding mix comes to the rescue.

Instructions

Step 1

For a correct, gradual transition from one mixture to another, more suitable for your child, it is worth adhering to certain rules. First, you need to determine the daily amount of formula your child consumes, and the number of feedings per day. If a child eats, for example, seven times a day, the transition to a new formula will be made within seven days.

Step 2

On the first day, you feed the first feed with the usual formula, but the second feed is already a new one, which you have chosen for the baby. Important: closely monitor the child and observe the reaction of his body to the new mixture. The child should feel calm. Make sure that the child is not experiencing tummy pains, that there is no allergic reaction, diarrhea or constipation.

Step 3

On the second day (assuming the baby has responded well to the first feed with the new formula), give the new formula on the second feed and also on the fourth.

Step 4

On the third day, you should replace the second, fourth and sixth feeds with a new formula. Every day of the introduction of a new mixture, be sure to pay attention to the reactions of the child's body.

Step 5

If the new formula has been successfully introduced and the baby responds well to it, start the fourth day of transition with the new formula, also leaving it for the second, fourth and sixth feedings.

Step 6

On the fifth day of the transition, give the baby a new formula and on the third feed. Thus, the morning feeds will already be transferred to the new formula.

Step 7

On the sixth day, the final one, all feedings, except for the fifth, must be done with a new mixture.

Step 8

On the seventh day, your baby will receive all feeds completely with only a new formula. Such a simple scheme for switching from an old mixture to a new one will help you correctly and quickly switch from one mixture to another, which is more suitable for your child.
