The most important thing is to dispose the child to new acquaintances, adequate communication and prevent negative influence from the outside. It must be remembered that in adolescence, a person goes through the process of self-knowledge, self-organization. This is an important period in his life. For example, you can enroll a teenager in a section, guided by what is interesting to him, and not to you. There he will be able to meet and make friends with the guys united by one common interest.
Step 2
You can't tell your child to look for friends. He will listen to your instructions, but he is unlikely to act on them. That is why you need to be able to correctly reason your words. Instead of imposing your points of view, you just need to explain all the pros and cons, and then let the teenager make the decision himself.
Step 3
Help your teen choose the qualities that friends should have. In an ordinary conversation, start a conversation about friendship, try to identify together the character traits that a friend should have. Write them down on a piece of paper and hang them in a prominent place in the teenager's room. When you see your child with new friends, remind him of the conversation about friendship and ask if he can confidently call all the people in his company friends.
