Sex is an important part of people's lives, it is an indisputable fact that should not be ignored. The need for sex at all times has been a powerful engine for many social processes. However, a person is not just a physical body, and his sexual behavior is limited and determined by many things. Sexual promiscuity is a behavior in which norms are ignored.

Promiscuity

Sexual promiscuity is otherwise called promiscuity. This word is used to describe that a person has sex with various partners, without limiting himself or restraining his desires. The term promiscuity was coined to describe the sexual behavior of ancient people who were believed to have no concept of family, so sex life was promiscuous. However, studies and observations of the life of human societies close to the primitive system do not confirm such assumptions. Probably, promiscuity was not really common among ancient people.

In the modern world, promiscuity, or the need to have constant sexual relations with various unfamiliar partners, is explained by a pathologically high libido, the reason is often the problem lies in the wrong processes in the human brain.

Despite the fact that long-term abstinence is not very good for health, and good sex makes a person much happier, nevertheless, public morality at all times and among all peoples recommends not rushing into sexual intercourse with unfamiliar people.

The difference between promiscuity and emancipation

Emancipation is a relaxed and natural behavior that makes a person more alive and pleasant. Liberated people react more naturally to everything, and sometimes in sex it may look like licentiousness, but in reality it is not. The concept of emancipation has nothing to do with promiscuity in the choice of sexual partners.

Despite the fact that in modern society of the Western type people are not limited in choosing a partner, the absolute majority still adhere to some rules. Studies show that sexual promiscuity and promiscuity are pathological behaviors for humans. Other scientists confirm this, noting a higher level of depression in people prone to promiscuity, especially in women. This behavior has no evolutionary basis.

An overabundance of sexual partners in both men and women usually indicates not emancipation, but that a person has complexes.

Emancipation is something completely different. The absence of fears in the intimate area, the desire and ability to talk on the most sensitive topics, openness to the exchange of feelings and to participate in sexual experiments - all this is liberation, not licentiousness.
