Step 2

It is better to give complementary foods before breastfeeding. Fresh juices are excellent sources of vitamins. When your baby gets used to juices, try treating him with mashed potatoes and porridge. Be patient, take your time. The baby's body is just forming, and too active introduction of new products into the usual children's menu can cause allergies or various troubles in the intestines and stomach.

Step 3

From four months, supplement the baby's diet with the yolk of a hard-boiled egg. Be careful, it can cause an allergic reaction.

Step 4

From about five months, introduce the crumbs to cereals. Make porridge at home or buy ready-made in the store. First, offer your baby rice or buckwheat porridge, later offer corn and oatmeal.

Step 5

If the baby does not like the new food, he is naughty and spits out a treat, do not insist. Try to give him mashed potatoes from another fruit or vegetable, and replace buckwheat porridge with rice. There is nothing wrong with that, the child may also have his own taste preferences.

Step 6

By the age of six months, the baby should receive complementary foods twice a day. There should be breastfeeding or formula feeding between complementary foods. By the age of nine months, the children's menu should be more varied. Give your child porridge, broth soups, vegetable and meat purees, cottage cheese or kefir. Prepared meat puree can be mixed with potatoes or other vegetables.

Step 7

From nine to ten months, start cooking meatballs and steamed burgers for your baby. By one year old, give your child some meals from the common family table: soups, mashed potatoes, steamed meat and fish, bread, fresh fruits and vegetables.
