Each person is born with a certain potential, qualities and abilities inherent in nature or genetics. The main task of parents is to identify this potential in a timely manner and contribute to its further development. How to do it?
Instructions
Step 1
Observation Children always do what they are attracted to. Observe the child's behavior, desires and aspirations. Try not to restrict him in games or insist on what seems more appropriate or useful to him. Let your child decide for himself whether he wants to play music, painting or sports.
Step 2
Support Treat your child's hobbies and interests with understanding, even if you don't really like them. Support him if prospects are outlined, or the child's desire to exercise is stronger. Otherwise, try to gradually dissuade the child from this hobby, offer alternatives, but remember: the decision should remain with him.
Step 3
Participation Raising a child to be strong and confident will not be effective if the parents are not involved in the child's personal life. Attend his workouts and classes, cheer for him in competitions and contests, figure out why he won or lost, help make decisions, but don't do it for him. The child must learn to analyze various situations and find the right way out of them, and in this he will be helped by the participation of parents, your explanations, help, advice.
Step 4
Qualities A child will become a person if the parents bring up the appropriate qualities in him. Raise your baby to be independent and responsible. If he wants to visit the sports section, then he himself must take care of the cleanliness of his uniform, carefully fold and remove it. As soon as a child learns to live according to the principle “if I want something, then I can do it,” he will become independent and purposeful.
