Knitting for little kids is pleasant and interesting. Hats, socks and other children's things can be knitted in one go, because you always want to see the result of your work faster. This model of a hat is knitted like a regular cap.

Step 1
Sample knitting pattern: knit purl loops with a "grandmother's" loop.
1 row - white (seamy side of knitting), * 1 purl loop, yarn, remove 1 loop (back thread) *, purl 1 loop. Repeat from * to *.
2nd row - white (knit front side), * 2 front loops, knit yarn over from the left knitting needle to the right one without knitting *, 1 front loop.
3 row - pink, * 1 purl loop, remove the yarn from you (thread in front), purl 1 loop *, purl 1 loop.
4 row - pink, * 1 purl loop, knit a loop with the next crochet together with the front one from above *, 1 purl loop.
5 row - white, * yarn, remove 1 loop (thread from behind), 1 purl loop *, yarn over, remove 1 loop (thread from behind).
6 row - white, 1 front loop, fold the yarn over from the left knitting needle to the right one, * 2 front loops, pull the yarn over from the left knitting needle to the right *.
7 row - pink, * pull the yarn off from you (thread in front), 2 purl loops *, pull the yarn away from you, 1 purl.
8 row - pink, * knit a loop with the next crochet together with a front loop from above, 1 purl loop *, knit a loop with the next crochet together with a front loop from above.
Step 2
Cast on 93 sts and work 6 rows with pink thread. Then white - one openwork row (2 loops together, yarn over) and purl row. Tie 6 more rows with pink thread.
Step 3
Now open the loops of the dialed row, put them on a free knitting needle and, bending the knitted fabric along the openwork row, knit 2 loops with a white thread together from two knitting needles at the same time.
Step 4
From the seamy side, begin to knit a pattern with white thread. Having knitted 12-13 cm with a pattern (it is better to stop at the 4th or 8th row of the pattern), divide the loops into three equal parts so that the middle part begins or ends with a purl loop. Mark these loops with pieces of colored thread. In this case, it will be like this: 93 = 31 + 31 + 31 or like this: 93 = 32 + 29 + 32.
Step 5
Next, knit with a double pink thread. After knitting 32 loops with a pattern (in 4 or 8 rows), knit another 28 loops, and knit 29 (marked) and the following two loops together with a purl loop. Tie the row to the end.
Step 6
On the wrong side, knit 30 loops with an elastic band (1 * 1), knit the next 28 loops with the front one, and knit 29 and the following two loops together with the front loop. Finish the row with an elastic band (1 * 1). Cut the thread.
Step 7
Tie a string on the right side of the middle section. Now knit only the middle 29 sts in garter stitch and knit the 29th sts with the sts that follow, alternating 3 stitches together, then 2 stitches together.
Step 8
At the same time it is necessary to narrow the occipital part. To do this, in every sixth row at the beginning and at the end of the row, you need to knit 2 loops together (after the removed loop and before knitting the 29th loop).
Step 9
When only the loops of the middle part remain on the knitting needle, dial the loops for the ties along the braids of the side parts, and knit 3-3, 5 cm with an elastic band 1 * 1. Finish crocheting by tying the stitches with white thread.
