Vomiting is the reflexive removal of undigested food from the stomach. It is not always the result of a gastrointestinal disorder. A child can also vomit from overeating, from eating poor-quality products by the mother, from individual intolerance to certain types of food, sometimes milk.

If vomiting has manifested itself once, then you should not show concern about this. If the child vomits every time even a minimal amount of food or liquid gets into the stomach, you should consult a doctor. The fact is that it can be the result of an intestinal infection. Therefore, the sooner you seek qualified help, the sooner your child will feel better.

Keep in mind that when vomiting, the child's body becomes dehydrated very quickly, so it is necessary for the baby to consume as much liquid as possible. The problem is that, firstly, the child will most likely refuse to drink, and secondly, a large amount of fluid will not be retained by the ventricle. Therefore, it is better to give to drink in small amounts, in teaspoons. If it fails, fill it with a syringe directly into your mouth. Offer to drink more often, literally every 5-10 minutes. Black or chamomile tea is best for drinking. The temperature of the tea should be very warm (not hot!), So it will be absorbed much faster into the walls of the stomach.

In addition to tea, preparations should also be given: “diluted with 1/2 cup of warm water. For children under one year old, it is quite enough to consume 1 sachet per day, at least 3 days. Enterodez is diluted at the rate of 2.5 g of powder per 50 ml of cooled boiled water. Children under 3 years old need to drink about 100 ml of solution per day.

Vomiting, as a rule, proceeds against a background of high fever. If it does not exceed 38 degrees, you should not shoot down. If it starts to go off scale - give any antipyretic "Panadol", "Nurofen", "Calpol" in the form of a suspension or suppositories. It should be borne in mind that each of the drugs can be given only once for a certain period of time (5-6 hours). Therefore, in order to avoid overdose, medications should be alternated.

Keep your baby on a dairy-free diet for a while. But do not exclude breast milk, as it will help you cope with the disease much faster.
