1. Into fresh air. A restless baby will surely calm down, being on the street, on the balcony or in her mother's arms in front of an open window. 10 minutes of fresh air will have a beneficial effect on the child's sleep and appetite.
2. The power of water. Prepare a warm bath for the baby and warm up the towel and clothes with an iron. After bathing, invite your baby to drink warm water.
3. Mom's hands. Undress the baby and place it on your stomach. With calm, but confident movements, massage the arms and legs, stroke the back. Many children calm down quickly by lying belly to belly with their mother.
4. Music or unfamiliar voice. Quiet melodic music or an audio tale can distract from crying.
5. Don't overdo it! Often, the baby cannot calm down due to the fact that the parents are worried. They change their clothes, feed them, give medicine. Try leaving your baby alone in the crib for 10 minutes. It is highly likely that in the absence of adults, the baby will calm down and fall asleep.
