The delicate, sensitive skin of a newborn baby requires a lot of effort to properly care for. It is necessary to bathe the baby every day, because during the day, milk residues, sweat, saliva and dead skin cells accumulate on the surface of the baby's skin, which should be removed without residue so that the skin does not become irritated.

Instructions

Step 1

All herbs, penetrating the skin, have a healing effect and have a beneficial effect on the child's body. They relieve irritation, reduce itching, have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects, and effectively remove dead cells.

Step 2

To heal the umbilical wound, add disinfecting herbs to the water bath: chamomile, oak bark and calendula. For rashes on the baby's skin, bathe him in the herbs of a series, celandine and sage. Remember, the herbs should be changed periodically, since daily bathing in the same infusion of the herb can cause an allergic reaction in the child.

Step 3

Brew a series as follows: take 150g of herbs, pour 1 liter of boiling water, then boil for 10 minutes, strain and pour into a baby bath with warm water. You can also alternate a series with other herbs in different proportions, but no more than two tablespoons. For example, 2 tablespoons of a string with 2 tablespoons of sage, or 2 tablespoons of a string with 1 tablespoon of chamomile and sage, 2 tablespoons of a string with 2 tablespoons of thyme, etc.

Step 4

If you use chamomile for bathing, brew it as follows: pour 1 tablespoon of boiling water with a liter of boiling water and let it brew for 10 minutes. Then pour the resulting chamomile broth into a bath with water for bathing. The herbal solution in the bath should be only slightly colored and transparent.

Step 5

To prepare an infusion of celandine, pour 50 g of herbs with 0.5 liters of boiling water in an enamel bowl, cover with a lid and heat in a water bath for 30 minutes. Refrigerate at room temperature for 15 minutes. Then strain, squeeze the raw materials, pour the broth into a glass jar with a tight lid. Use the broth within two days in a cool, dark place. Before taking a bath, add one glass of broth to the water.

Step 6

Sage herbs are emollient, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. To bathe children in sage, pour 1 tablespoon with 1 cup of boiling water, let it brew for 20 minutes, strain and add to the water.
