Writing is one of the most important academic skills that must be developed in the first year of study. How to make sure that it does not turn out to be difficult for the child and a beautiful and easy handwriting is formed? You will have to put in a little effort organizing 15-20 minute sessions, but the results will be worth it.
Necessary
Balls, skipping ropes, brushes, pencils, crayons, scissors, drawing paper, colored paper, glue, plasticine / salt dough, massage balls
Instructions
Step 1
Play ball with your child, learn to jump rope, organize outdoor games for children. It is no coincidence that this point was put first, it has a physiological basis. Muscles develop in the direction from the central, large, to peripheral, small. Therefore, the development of fine motor skills should begin with the child's general motor (motor) dexterity.
Step 2
Draw with your child. Just start drawing and gradually offer your child exercises with shading objects, painting, and outlining dashed lines. Learn to do hatching in different directions - oblique, vertical, horizontal. Introduce your child to different lines: straight, curved, spiral, zigzag. Offer to trace them, and then draw yourself.
Step 3
Draw with your child on the pavement, on large areas of paper (wallpaper, for example), with large brushes, thick felt-tip pens and pencils. Here, again, the rule works - from large movements to small ones, from large motor skills of the arm muscles to small ones.
Step 4
Give your child scissors. Learn to cut out pre-drawn or printed triangles, squares, rectangles. Next, move on to figures that are difficult for children's motor skills - stars, circles, ovals. Glue the cut out objects in the form of an applique - the child will be interested, because you are engaged in creativity and create your own masterpiece.
Step 5
Massage your baby's palms and fingers daily. In addition to stimulating the muscles in the arm, it also stimulates the areas of the brain responsible for speech. Let the child roll the balls (special massage balls, smooth and spiky).
Step 6
Sculpt with your child. If the opportunity arises, let’s knead and roll the dough pieces, or make a special, salty sculpting dough. Knead plasticine and sculpt from it - sausages, berries, apples, beads - everything that a baby can do. The sculpting movements strengthen the small muscles of the arm.
