Modeling and construction also contribute to the development of motor skills. Let it be a construction set with large details at first. These activities also develop the child's imagination. A joint pastime will be useful for both the child and his parents.
Pencil drawing and coloring can also be considered useful. The smallest receive large drawings with a depicted one object. For example, a large apple, pear, ball. Later, smaller elements are added and you can offer to paint the image of a watermelon, a house, a bus. Parents can draw such primitive drawings by hand. You can later purchase coloring books or print the drawings on your home printer.
When the child reaches the age of four, it is already possible to offer templates for the elements of letters, numbers. As a rule, at this age, children are actively drawn to knowledge, they are interested in learning to write and count. Special coloring pages will come to the rescue, where the elements of the image must first be drawn. It is helpful for parents to encourage and maintain this interest in learning.

Make sure that the pen or pencil is inserted into the hand as follows: the lower part, writing, lies on the first phalanx of the middle finger of the child's right (or left) hand, while pressing firmly with the pad of the thumb.
