In the first year of a baby's life, many skills are acquired - fixing the gaze, holding the head, crawling, the ability to sit, get up and walk. By their timeliness, one can judge the development of the child, which entirely depends on the parents, who provide the baby with proper care, adequate nutrition and physical strengthening of the body.
Instructions
Step 1
The ability to hold the head appears in the baby at the end of the second month. However, earlier or later acquisition of this skill is not excluded. Its prolonged absence (more than 3 months) may indicate a lag in physical development, which depends on a number of factors - insufficient intake or assimilation of food, congenital, hereditary, as well as past diseases, improper care and mistakes in upbringing.
Step 2
For the normal development of the baby, it is necessary from birth to strengthen its muscles and bone skeleton with the help of massage and gymnastics, as well as temper it with water procedures.
Already from 2-3 weeks before each feeding, the newborn can be laid on the stomach. It develops the ability to keep the head well, strengthens the muscles of the abdomen and back. It is necessary to start with a few minutes and, at the first sign of fatigue, turn from the abdomen to the back. Over time (after 1-2 weeks), letting the baby lie on his tummy is possible more often, for example, between feedings.
Step 3
From 1-1, 5 months, it is good to hold and carry the baby in a prone position, holding the neck and head with one hand and the stomach with the other. From this time on, you can keep the baby in an upright position, starting from a few minutes and gradually increasing the time. Exercises that develop head holding include lifting the baby by the handles.
Step 4
Early swimming of newborns has a very good effect. Such children develop much faster both physically and emotionally, since water strengthens not only muscles, but also the nervous system. With regular exercise, from birth, you can teach your child to keep his head ahead of schedule.
Step 5
Do not forget that for the child's physical development, good nutrition is required, the quality of which during this period depends on the mother's diet. Therefore, during lactation, there should be a mandatory intake of a full set of vitamins and minerals, either with food or in the form of drugs, as well as a sufficient amount of proteins, fats and carbohydrates.
