Recently, the number of persons, in particular ex-husbands, who, for one reason or another, refuse to pay alimony, has been constantly increasing. As a rule, there is only one argument - there is no money. Undoubtedly, situations when ex-husbands do not pay alimony, referring to a difficult financial situation, is a fairly widespread phenomenon, but the fact that there is no money can affect only the amount of alimony, but not in any way on their payment. If the former spouse does not pay alimony, then he must be forced to do so.

Step 1
There are only two ways to force a negligent husband to pay alimony. The first way is to personally influence the spouse. Often this option, of course, is ineffective, even threats of prosecution are not afraid, but on the whole it is possible to exert a certain psychological impact.
Step 2
The most effective way to resolve the issue is to file a statement of claim on the establishment of the amount of alimony and compulsion to pay it to the court. The judge of the peace deals with such questions. If the ex-spouse has a permanent job, then after the court makes a decision, the writ of execution will be sent to her place, and the employer will transfer the percentage of wages established by the court to the ex-wife's account, or the latter will directly receive the set amount at the spouse's place of work.
Step 3
The situation is more complicated when the ex-husband does not have permanent sources of income. In any case, the court will oblige him to pay alimony, but this will no longer be a certain percentage of income, but a fixed amount. How the spouse will seek funds is already his problem. In case of non-payment of alimony, the writ of execution will be sent for compulsory execution to the bailiffs, who will initiate enforcement proceedings and will collect the amount of alimony from the former spouse forcibly.
Step 4
If the spouse has no income, the bailiffs have the right to arrest his property, subsequently sell it and thereby pay off the debt. In the event of a prolonged non-fulfillment of obligations to pay alimony, bailiffs have the right to initiate a criminal case against the ex-husband. If for the first time the spouse can get off with a minor punishment, then the next time a criminal case is initiated, he may well receive a real term. Serving a sentence and earning certain money, the spouse will pay off the debt at the expense of these incomes. Criminal punishment by no means relieves the latter from paying alimony.
Step 5
It is worth noting that recently it is the influence of bailiffs, who are endowed with rather large powers, that positively affects the solution of the issue of paying alimony.
