How to develop memory in toddlers
You need to start with simple exercises, gradually complicating the task. At the first stage, the baby's favorite toys can be involved in the process: bears, hares, cars, etc. First you need to teach the child to identify objects with their names. Then put all the toys in one place and, turning to the child, ask him to get a certain one. If the kid does everything right, you can move on.
At the second stage, drawings with images of animals are used (you can practice on playing cards). Two or three cards must be laid out with pictures upwards so that the baby will remember them. Then - turn it face down and ask the child: where is the dog, for example.

In order to properly develop a child's memory, it is not recommended to be limited to exercises alone. From time to time, parents need to contact the baby with a specific request: bring a comb from the bathroom, get your towel out of the closet, put on slippers, etc. First, the baby remembers the names of objects and learns to associate them correctly.
