When a child is admitted to school, one of the criteria for his readiness is a well-developed memory and attention. Attention contributes to the good development of perception, thinking, speech. Developed memory increases the intellectual level of the child. These two indicators - attention and memory - help in successful studies. Therefore, they need to be developed at the proper level. And above all, parents should do this.

Instructions

Step 1

It is necessary to stimulate the development of memory and attention with the help of special games and exercises. When your baby begins to pronounce the first sounds, you should discuss with him absolutely everything that is happening around: what children he played with, how they played, what they ate, etc. At first, you will have to talk to you most of the time, but then the child will willingly join. Memorize rhymes and songs with him, read fairy tales - all this helps to develop the child's attention and memory. Ask your child questions about the plot of the tale. By the age of 5, complicate the task and ask your child to retell the story or rhyme on their own.

Step 2

Be sure to develop your child's visual attention. Along with it, concentration and observation develop. Play games with your child for development. For example, offer him two pictures that show the same pictures, but with slight differences, and invite the child to find these differences. Draw labyrinths for him, from which you need to find a way out. All these tasks should not be difficult, do not overwork the child. Make tasks colorful and bright, use fairy-tale heroes.

Step 3

Developed tactile memory is very helpful for children in their studies. Blindfold the child and have him identify objects by touch. For young children (2-4 years old), this task needs to be simplified. Put the items in the box and ask your baby to name them by touch. For older children, the skills of tying "sea knots" will be indispensable. Such activities will help develop the child's attention and memory.

Step 4

For the development of motor memory, you do not need to invent anything complicated. Just invite your child to repeat all the movements after you. Depending on the age of the child, the movements can be very simple, or, for older children, suggest repeating the chain of exercises.

Step 5

The child perceives most of the information by ear. Therefore, start developing auditory memory as early as possible. Ask the younger child to repeat the chain of words, and ask the older child to repeat the same chain of words, but after a certain amount of time.

Step 6

Be sure to engage with your child. Just do not turn your activities into something boring and discouraging to do something. In any game, change roles with the child, let first you give him a task, and he, by analogy, will assign a task to you. This will diversify your activities, and you will spend time with interest.
