Step 2
Place your thumb under your tongue and start moving it from side to side. After that, stretch your lips in a smile and run your tongue over your teeth, as if brushing them. First from the outside, and then from the inside. In this case, the lower jaw cannot be moved.
Hook your tongue over your upper teeth and arch it up. Freeze in this position for a few seconds. Stretch your lips again in a smile and bite the tongue, starting from the very tip. This exercise is aimed at activating the muscles of the tongue.
Then depict the clatter of the horse's hooves. Relax your lips and say "Brr!" Compete with a toddler with a longer tongue. Try to reach your nose and chin with your tongue. Place pieces of cookies or fruit at the edge of the table, let the baby try to reach them with his tongue. Practice pronunciation of other sounds, especially "t" and "d".
All these exercises should take place in the form of a game and in no case force the baby if he is out of sorts. Do not offer to do everything at once, break the exercises into parts, and do reinforcing exercises between them.

Read and memorize various tongue twisters. The kid will get carried away and will definitely want to show everyone his skills. In addition, you can come up with your own tongue twisters.

Those developmental exercises that can be performed several times a day are especially good. Ask your toddler to show you how the lion roars. Pour milk or tea into a saucer, let the child pretend to be a kitten. Such exercises are very good training for the baby's tongue.
Step 5
Use special speech therapy coloring books. They contain special tasks associated with the letter "p" that help develop memory, motor skills and correct pronunciation.
