Such qualities as neatness and orderliness, instilled in children from childhood, will help them in the future. They will become more self-confident, able to cope with all sorts of tasks and make decisions.

Order in things

Children from 2 years of age can be actively involved in cleaning. Moreover, from this age they are so eager to help their mother. Arrange a competition to see who will be the first to collect toys. Older children can turn on the timer. Of course, the baby will have to come to the rescue. But always say that you are just helping, and he does the rest himself. And do not skimp on praise. Older children should be taught to clean up after themselves with small steps. To begin with, let him remove everything from the desk after completing homework. Then remind him to put the dirty dishes in the sink and so on. Thus, gradually expanding the range of responsibilities. But if the child has not fulfilled something, do not scold him. Calmly remind him again what to do. And in no case do not take on his routine duties. Children quickly draw conclusions: if you take time, then the parents will do everything themselves. Just be patient.

Keep track of time

Toddlers have no idea of time. Therefore, they should be taught punctuality with the help of the daily routine. Make a plan for the day with time intervals and stick to it. The child will grow accustomed to the regime, and punctuality will enter his life in a natural way.

Older children should be taught the main lesson - not to postpone things until the last moment. For example, let your child make it a rule to pack a backpack and prepare clothes for the evening. So in the morning he will not be late for school and will not forget anything.

Finish started

Already in the year the child needs to be taught to finish the work he has begun. For example, read a story to the end. This will help your little one understand that every story has a beginning and an end. Or, played with toys - put it back in place. But if the child started to assemble the constructor, then there is no need to ask to disassemble it and put it back in place. It would be more correct to put it in a prominent place and let the child finish his project the next day.

Older children love to be distracted by smartphones and tablets. The task of the parents is to set limits. Allocate an area in the apartment free of computers and other gadgets. In this area, the child will do homework. So that the child does not feel left out, you should also adhere to this rule. Put your smartphone aside when making breakfast, for example. And most importantly, as for all household members - do not pick up smartphones unnecessarily when spending an evening with your family.
