Putting the baby to sleep at night is a task that parents will have to solve every night for several years. Laying down can be tricky at first, but setting up rituals prior to sleep will help nullify them over time.
Necessary
to establish a system of laying rituals
Instructions
Step 1
Sleep-wakefulness rhythms are formed for each child individually, it is rather difficult to correct them, it is easier to adapt to them. Observe your baby and estimate at what time in the evening he starts to get tired. At this time, it is necessary to go to bed. It is important not to miss this moment, not to let the child "go overboard". You will not be able to lay such a child for a long time, and his nervous system will be overloaded, this can lead to tantrums and crying.
Step 2
Just before bedtime, start reducing your play activity. Instead of running and dancing, invite your child to quietly read a book.
Step 3
Create a bedtime ritual or rituals. This can be a warm bubble bath or aromatic oils, light massage or gymnastics. See which one is right for you. It happens that bathing, on the contrary, invigorates the child, then it is better to bathe him during the day, and come up with something else before going to bed.
Step 4
Invite your toddler to put his favorite toys to bed. This will prepare him for the fact that he will soon fall asleep.
Step 5
Get ready for bed. Turn off the lights in the room and tell your baby that everyone will go to bed now, as it's time. If the child sleeps with you in the same bed, then go to bed with him. If the child sleeps in his own bed, just sit next to him.
Step 6
Sing him a lullaby or tell him a story. Maybe the child wants to discuss plans for tomorrow, or, conversely, talk about the day in the past.
Step 7
When falling asleep, tactile contact with the mother is important for the child. Hug him and stroke him, if the baby does not mind.
