Ready-made kinetic sand costs a lot of money, but you can prepare its semblance yourself.
Necessary
- - 2 cups potato starch;
- - 3 glasses of clean sand (you should not take sand from the city beach, it is better to buy it, for example, in a pet store, it is washed and smaller);
- - 1 glass of cold water;
- - container with a lid;
- - "sandbox", it is best to take a square container;
- - plastic basin.
Instructions
Step 1
Pour sand into a plastic bowl. Add starch. Stir first with a spoon or a toy spatula, then with your hands until smooth.
Step 2
Gradually add water to the resulting mixture, stirring thoroughly. The sand is ready!
Step 3
Pour it into the sandbox and you can play! If there is no suitable container, then you can put a large piece of cardboard or linoleum on the floor. Such sand is much softer than usual, from it you can easily mold not only Easter cakes, but also a whole sand castle. In addition, it is much cleaner and safer for the child than the sand from the city sandbox.
