The newborn actively learns the world and quickly learns new movements. He exercises daily and strengthens his muscles. At about 4 months old, the baby learns to roll over from back to tummy and from belly to back. Parents accept this long-awaited movement with great joy. After all, it expands the capabilities of the baby. There are several exercises that help the baby to master the coups.
Instructions
Step 1
Encourage the baby to roll over. He must be interested in the new movement. To do this, show him an interesting toy or rattle that he loves. Let him watch her. Do not hold it in your hands, but put it to the side so that the child can see the toy. He must have an incentive to master the new movement. Having become interested, he will try to change his position. This provokes the mastery of the coup.
Step 2
Show your baby how he can roll over. Lay it on your back. Take his left leg by the shin, bend at the knee and cross over the right. Lower the leg to the table surface, pull it slightly so that the hip joint moves after it. The child will try to roll over, because this position is very uncomfortable. Continue crossing the legs until the baby rolls over, help him by lifting the back to the left. Repeat the exercise with the right leg.
Step 3
Extend your index finger to the baby on his back. Let him grab it. Now pull your hand out to the side. The kid will follow your movement. Finding himself in an uncomfortable position, he will try to change it. Moving his legs, the baby will tend to roll over. After the coup, help him get into a comfortable position. Massage your back with stroking movements. Often one hand is pressed against the body. Let the baby try to free it on his own, if he fails, help him.
Step 4
It is more difficult to teach a baby to roll over from belly to back. Help him make this move. Turn his pelvis slightly so that the child, following this movement, tries to roll over completely.
Step 5
The most difficult thing in a tummy coup is the baby's ability to pull his arms out from under him. The arms are still very weak, and the child often flounders helplessly, trying to free them. In such attempts, help him, raise the arms at shoulder level so that the baby can lean on them. Flip it over smoothly to show how it will do it. Your help will be needed until the arm muscles get stronger. But don't get carried away. Give your child the opportunity to exercise on their own.
