Using a pregnancy test is a great opportunity to find out the results of fertilization before going to the doctor. Regardless of the type, it is quite easy to use, but each option has its own nuances.
Instructions
Step 1
Buy a pregnancy test exclusively from pharmacies. This is how you protect yourself from acquiring a cheap fake, the result of which will become a reason for unnecessary disappointment. Choose the option you like and get started.
Step 2
Strip strip
This is the simplest type of pregnancy test, which is a thin strip with a reagent inside, which is designed to determine the human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. Open the packaging just before use. Collect the urine in a clean, dry container and dip the test strip into it to the marked level. Pay close attention to the mark - if you lower the test too deep, you risk getting an unreliable result. Wait five seconds and remove the strip from the container, place it on a dry horizontal surface. The result should be checked after three to five minutes. After ten minutes, the test is invalid.
Step 3
Inkjet test cassette
A special plastic device allows you to determine the presence or absence of pregnancy without filling the container. Remove the cap from the cassette and grasp the test where it is not marked with an arrow. Substitute the marked end, which was under the protective cap, under the stream of urine for five seconds. Then close the test cap and set aside for five minutes. In this case, the test also becomes invalid after ten minutes.
Step 4
Tablet test
This test is analogous to laboratory diagnostics and has the most accurate results. It consists of a test cassette and a pipette attached to it. Pour urine into a pipette and fill the special round hole in the cassette with four drops of it. The test is evaluated after three to five minutes.
