To prevent children from getting bored and capricious on the road, play games with them or come up with tasks for them. The road will not seem so long and the child will love to travel.

How to keep your child busy on the road

1. Come up with a fairy tale and your fantastic adventure with your child. And let the traffic cop be the guard on the way to the magical land, the trees are enchanted people, and the road signs actually mean something completely different in a fabulous language. Start telling the story, and let the child continue or make changes and additions.

2. Be sure to record the children's songs on disc or USB and teach and sing along with the songs. But reading, watching cartoons and drawing on the road is not recommended - the child may get seasick.

3. Play Alphabet. In turn, for each letter of the alphabet, find an object that begins with this letter. Items can be named which are in the car and outside the window.

4. If the child can read, give him a map. Let him follow the road and check the map. And also tells the name of the river that flows straight or the city that can be seen on the left. When a child sees the route in front of his eyes, he will not ask questions about "how long do we have to go." You can also invite your child to choose where to stop.

5. Give your child an old, but working camera or camera phone. Offer him to photograph all the rivers he meets on the way, or red cars or something else.

6. If the child already knows how to count or is just learning, invite him to count the sums of the numbers that are on the license plates of neighboring cars.

7. During the trip, you can learn a little rhyme. Only necessarily uncomplicated and positive. The child will repeat it all the way, and thereby train his memory. The main thing is not to scold the child if he starts telling the same rhyme for the 20th time.

8. Do not give up listening to audiobooks. These can be both informative stories and fairy tales. Remember to discuss what you just heard with your child.

9. If you are driving on vacation, at sea or to visit relatives, then try to make a plan with your child: where you will go, what you will do, what will be the daily routine. This will not only help you pass the time on the road, but it will also help your child more easily adapt to a change of place.

10. Make riddles to each other, and in older children, you can solve crossword puzzles or play sea battle together.

When the child is not bored, the time on the road flies by. And if the child likes to ride a car, then you can travel with him and show the interesting places of our Motherland.
