If your pet walks outside on its own, then you should think about washing it more often. It is wrong to shield a child from an animal because it is dirty or infectious. Do not be afraid to complicate your life.
In order for a child to fall in love with animals, not to be afraid of them and to treat them with respect, it is enough to accept his pet as a member of the family. Do not infringe on his rights, treat him unfairly.
