Children's laziness is born with the child and is often cultivated by the parents. Initially, the child cannot do anything on his own; mom and dad do it for him. In this way, the negative impact of the parents is created through endless caring for the child.
Many believe that the child has not matured to work. Such people protect their child from responsibilities, independence, instilling in them a sense of laziness.
You can often hear:
- don't take the cup, break it;
- do not cut the bread yourself, you can cut yourself;
- let me bring the briefcase;
- I'll tie the laces;
- go, I will clean up the toys for you myself (mothers often say when they run out of patience to collect toys with a child).
The list can be very long.
Reasons for laziness:
- hyper-care, hypo-care;
- spoiled child;
- the child does not have a clear picture of work activity in the family;
- monotony of performed duties and boredom;
- lack of energy. Lack of vitamins, diseases.
Methods of dealing with child laziness.
1) The most effective method for young children is to do everything together by example. Do not forget to praise your child, do not push him away when he wants to help you.
2) Explain to the kid what his activity is. Tell us why you need cleaning, washing dishes, etc.
3) Make the child clear about his daily responsibilities.
4) The child wants to have a result "here and now." When parents teach a child something, one should not only explain the theoretical aspects of a particular activity, but immediately carry it out in a practical way. We adults know how to wait and predict the result in the future tense, children live in a different reality.
5) Teach your child to work in time - make his life easier in the future. He will not grow up, a lazy person and a person who avoids duties and work.
