Many families undergo a kind of exam after the arrival of the baby in the house. The months of pregnancy with their "charms" are already a rather difficult process for a man, and the young father expects that after the birth of the child all the whims of the faithful will remain in the past.

Not so simple. At the moment, the second stage of hormonal problems begins - postpartum depression. A man does not have enough attention, love and affection, and women deliberately remove their husbands from themselves, believing that an adult is able to take care of himself. Some believe that from now on, their work as a “wife” is over, and they need to immerse themselves in the upbringing of children. On this basis of mutual misunderstanding, new conflicts flare up.

However, do not forget that a child needs both parents, and their relationship to each other is the most important model of behavior for a little person. Therefore, it is very important that the parents agree on what is called “on the shore”. If during pregnancy a man realizes that after the birth of a child the first time will be the most difficult, and some sacrifices will be required from him, as the head of the family, then when the time comes to give up his entertainment, he will take it for granted, and not as aggressive expansion.

A newly minted mother should also learn the fact that all difficulties are exclusively temporary in nature. And how long they last depends only on you. To maintain the relationship in the postpartum period, remember that your spouse needs attention as much as before, leave the baby with a grandmother or nanny, take time for each other. And yes, the child is undoubtedly an important part of your life, but by no means central. Remember your health, your female needs and give yourself these little joys. This will not only help you feel better, but it will also "loosen the grip" on your spouse.

Don't be afraid to ask your husband for help. Many young mothers face the fear of entrusting their precious child to their husband. But he (just like you) is mastering this difficult parenting craft for the first time. Show him how to put the baby to bed, change the diaper, give out all the necessary tools for this and go to the beauty salon or even just take a bath. This is his child too, he values him as much as you do, and if suddenly something goes wrong, he will definitely turn to you. In addition, a special bond should be established between the father and the child, which will awaken the paternal instincts in him and help him understand how difficult it is for you. And how does all this happen if you yourself keep them at a distance? The most important thing in this business is the right approach. It is unlikely that your spouse will gladly rush to help. An offer to help will begin with a reproach or claim that he does nothing and would do at least something. Agree, support him with an affectionate word or compliment.

A family is a rather difficult job, a family with a small child is doubly so. Help each other in this difficult period, your happiness is in your hands!
