Letters are what connects people living at a distance from each other. To receive a "living" handwritten letter from a loved one means touching his soul, holding a piece of something personal in his hands. But in life there are different situations, even those when you have to forbid yourself to wait for letters.
Instructions
Step 1
You may have been chatting with a pen pal who was several hundred kilometers away. Your communication was quivering and tender, maybe it grew into affection or something more, but he had another woman who is now always with him. In this case, you have no choice but to stop waiting for letters from him.
Step 2
To somehow help yourself with this, try to take your own time with some interesting things for you. It is advisable not to burden yourself with routine work, since a monotonous task, performed mechanically, will only take your hands, but not your thoughts. Try to participate in some kind of creative project, even if it will be the usual reading of a fairy tale by roles with the child.
Step 3
Train yourself to look at the mailbox less often, or give the keys to someone in the family. Or, on the contrary, subscribe to your favorite periodical, make any mail order so that, opening the box, you can see there notifications about pleasant parcels, and not just boring receipts from utilities.
Step 4
Another way to distract yourself from the daily expectation of letters from him is to start texting with another person who lives at a distance from you, for example, your sister, friend, mom, or aunt. Find someone with whom you, for example, had fun at sea three years ago. The advantage of the new correspondence is that it will retain the feeling of waiting for a letter, but completely from other people.
Step 5
Unfortunately, no one is insured against the loss of a loved one with whom you have developed a wonderful correspondence. To drown out the pain of loss a little, write this person one more, last letter. Even if it stretches over 5, 10, or 20 pages, don't stop until you feel that everything you wanted to say remains on paper. It is very important to write such a letter by hand. Send it, but only if you are sure that no one will read this message by mistake. Or just fold the airplane out of it and release it into free flight.
