Well, for starters, it is worth furnishing children's furniture, which has many drawers and shelves. It is imperative to determine each thing its own specific place. This will make cleaning easier, because you will not have to look for a place for a typewriter, doll or textbooks every time, and it is easier to find something if you know where it lies.

With each shopping trip, the child has a new toy or thing, respectively, there are more and more of them in the room. In order not to clutter up the room, you periodically need to get rid of old things, freeing up space for storing new ones. Be sure to explain this to the child. Otherwise, he may think that they are getting rid of his favorite things.

Often children eat sweets, fruits in their room, while leaving a lot of candy wrappers and stubs on the table, shelves, or even worse in drawers and cabinets, whatever happens, it is worth putting a waste basket, thereby making it easier for yourself to clean up …

To teach a child to clean the room himself, it is worth explaining that these are his duties. The explanation should be clearly articulated. No need to shout or force. It is necessary to make sure that he understands and agrees with the arguments why this is necessary and important. To begin with, it is worth discussing what and where will be in place. Later, when he cleans himself, it will be faster and more difficult.

Of course, you need to set the regime, that is, regularly, at a certain time, whether it be an evening or a specific day of the week dedicated to cleaning the room. If the room is large or it is difficult for a child to clean everything at once, divide the room into zones and attach a specific day to each zone. This will make the task easier and free up time for something else.

When the child is small, it is up to the mother to clean his room, here you need to direct the child's energy to help. We can say that my mother cannot cope on her own, and his help is very important to her. That without him it is simply impossible. Then the baby will feel his importance and it will seem to him that he is such an adult, since his mother cannot live without him. With this formulation of the request, the child will quickly agree to help.

You can turn cleaning into a game. For example, who will make the bed faster or who will find more hidden toys under the bed or elsewhere in the room. Cleaning together is much more fun.
