Instructions
Step 1
Copy the blue lines once and the red lines twice onto the cardboard. Cut out. Do not cut along the dotted lines.
Step 2
Sell one keel along the dotted line. Place a ruler along the line you want to push through. Press down on the line with a ballpoint pen. Turn the second keel over and push it too. Flip the plane over and push it between the aileron slits. Bend the keels along the sagging lines.
Step 3
Glue the folded parts of the keel together. Glue the keel to the airplane along the center line as shown in the figure. Glue the tail of the keel on the sides to the plane with tape. Bend the ailerons up.
Step 4
Copy and cut out the nose. Glue it onto a 1 cm thick layer of eraser. When dry, cut the eraser with a boot knife along the contour of the nose. Turn over.
Step 5
Cut a 2 cm piece of straw. Use a thick needle to poke a hole in the eraser.
Step 6
Insert a piece of straw firmly into the hole. Take out, dip in glue and paste again. Let dry.
Step 7
Use strong glue to glue the eraser to the nose of the aircraft. Apply glue to the tips of the two thumbtacks and press them into the eraser on either side of the keel.
Step 8
Airplane launch. Arrange six rubber rings in pairs. Wrap one pair around the pencil, thread it through itself and pull tight.
Step 9
String other pairs to make a long ribbon. Tighten the knots tight. With the plane in one hand, thread a cocktail straw through the end of the tape, pull very tight and release.
