You enrolled your child in art school. To start attending classes, he will need a whole set of items and supplies. What are these objects.
Typically, before attending art school for the first time, you will be given a list of supplies your child will need in class. Often, this is a fairly long list, and it includes not only a set of paints and brushes. This is due to the fact that in addition to simple drawing lessons in an art school, children are taught to sculpt, tinker, make applications and much more. It is rather difficult to remember this list, let's see what is included in it.
1. Gouache. There is a special art (quite expensive). For the first lessons, the usual one for creativity is also suitable. The number of colors is at least 6, preferably 12-24. It is better to choose a long box, where the paint cans are located in one or two rows. It takes up less space on your desktop and is more convenient to use.
2. Brushes. You will need three varieties - wide, medium and thin. It is better to choose brushes with synthetic bristles, they are more elastic. At first, it is more convenient for a child to work with just such. The design can be any, now there are even brushes with multi-colored cuttings.
3. A simple pencil. Better hard-soft (TM, HB) or hard (T, H). Soft pencils are too dark and can smudge.
4. Eraser. Soft and comfortable in shape.
5. Colored paper. Better double-sided, it is brighter. Not coated, as coated poorly adheres. In addition, glare gives an additional strain on the eyes, the child will get tired.
6. Colored cardboard. Choose according to brightness and number of colors. Also pay attention to the number of sheets in the bundle.
7. Colored pencils. Now they began to produce very convenient for children triangular pencils (thick and thin). One of the requirements is brightness. The number of colors is at your discretion, but it is better not less than 24.
8. Sharpener. If you have chosen pencils with a thick shaft, the sharpener must have an appropriate connector!
9. Markers. Also at least 24 colors. Better than a proven company.
10. Gel pens. The brand is of your choice. The number of colors is the same.
11. Scissors. Childrens are bright and with blunt ends. These are the main requirements, as they ensure the safety of the child and those around him.
12. Glue stick. Better small, because may dry out. Buy several at once and check the used copy from time to time. If the lid is not properly closed or not closed at all, the glue stick may dry out.
13. PVA glue. There are some requirements for the jar. Besides the fact that it should have a long spout with a twist-off lid, it would be just fine if this lid were bright, large enough and with a grooved surface. Then the child can easily unscrew it if necessary, and the bright color and large size will help not to lose it.
14. Palette and sippy cup. These items are not always included in the list. Often they are already available in the workshop and are given to the child, if necessary, right in the classroom.
15. Plasticine. Bright and soft. The basic set of flowers in a convenient box. Sometimes, instead of plasticine, they ask to bring clay.
16. Apron. IKEA models with sleeves and Velcro at the back of the neck are perfect.
17. A zipped folder with handles and a pencil case in which you will put all these things.
As you can see, the list is quite long. It may be slightly different in your particular school.
Over time, as needed, some of the elements will need to be replaced or purchased.
Advice! Buy all of these supplies and put them in your folder. Do not allow your child to take out these items, as they may forget to put them back. Keep them all in one place. Then, getting ready for class, you just take a folder with you and be sure that your child will have everything he needs for creativity. And you can save time on fees.
