Believe me, even the most expensive wallpapers are not worth the healthy psychological state of your baby. A regular board for the refrigerator, or sheets of paper glued to the walls or door with tape, or attached with buttons can distract the child from the walls themselves and help protect the nerve cells of the parents.

Secondly, if the drawing happened, you should not immediately panic and run to the store for new wallpaper. Parenting practice is relentless - if the child has already begun to paint the walls, this is likely to happen again. Better try to adapt the drawing to the interior by making a frame around it.

Third, remember what you were like a child yourself, and it will be easier for you to become more tolerant of your children. Leave adult decisions to adults, add a little fun and creativity to life, since the picture "has already happened".

Fourthly, if your child has not yet mastered "wall painting" and you are worried about how to avoid this, provide the child with another place for "legal" drawing - this can be a piece of old wallpaper, special curtains that can be found and bought in the store, and paint together with the child, a cardboard box that can be painted "like a house". Do not limit your children's imagination and the desire for creativity!
