The development of fine motor skills is extremely beneficial for children's thinking. The more agile the baby's fingers are, the better his speech is formed. Therefore, it is useful to carry out various crafts from a very early age. Plasticine and cereals are excellent materials for this. The craft described below is easy enough that even a very kid can complete it with his mother.

Step 1
Plasticine is applied to the lid from sour cream or mayonnaise. It is possible to carry out the craft on a different basis. But for babies, this cap is optimal: the child does not get tired of applying plasticine. If the surface is too large, the small child will lose interest in the monotonous action and disconnect from the process. Let the child choose the color of the plasticine. It is most useful for the mother to knead it and give it to the baby with balls so that he spreads it on the lid. It is not necessary to make the layer of plasticine too thin, so there will be enough childish power to distribute it evenly over the entire surface.
Step 2
A needle or any other thin object (the corner of a simple screwdriver, for example) draws the outline of a simple figure: a square, a circle or a star. You can repeat geometric shapes right away. If the mother knows how to draw a little, and the child has already grown up, then it is useful to complete a more complex pattern - a swan, for example.
Step 3
Groats are glued to the plasticine inside the contour. It does not fundamentally matter which one: buckwheat, rice, peas, lentils or others. It is advisable to give the baby a free choice in this matter. If he is still very small, the mother can lay out the cereals herself wherever she needs, and the child will press it into the plasticine. For the best development of fine motor skills, it is advisable for the child to take the croup one by one and press it in with one finger, and not with the palm or fist. Fingers can be alternated so that they do not get tired (especially if the craft is made from hot buckwheat).
Step 4
The background remaining free is also laid out with cereals. It is possible that the background remains the same. But usually children like the process of gluing buckwheat or rice, so they continue to do it with pleasure. Babies do not even need a figure outline at all. They can simply press the cereal onto the clay.
