There is another difficulty associated with this method: if the child refuses to drink the entire contents of the bottle, it will be difficult for you to estimate the amount of the drug actually taken.
Step 3
The most effective way to give pills to your child is to use a regular medical syringe without a needle. It is enough to mix the crushed tablets with liquid, fill the syringe and insert it into the baby's mouth. Do not be afraid that the child will choke - babies have a pronounced swallowing reflex. This will most likely not spill a drop of the drug.
