If you suddenly catch a cold, and you have a small child in your apartment, you need to do everything possible to protect him from illness. There are some rules that you follow to greatly reduce the likelihood that your baby will catch an infection.
Instructions
Step 1
If there is no opportunity to isolate the child until your complete recovery, then be sure to wear a mask when in contact with the baby.
Step 2
Don't put your child to sleep with you. It is better if he sleeps in another room or, as a last resort, in his crib.
Step 3
Be sure to sterilize the utensils from which your baby eats and drinks, especially in the first 3 months of life. Never pour liquid into the bottle from your cup.
Step 4
As much as possible (at least 2 times a day) ventilate the room in which the baby is. The duration of each ventilation should be at least 10 minutes.
Step 5
In the room where the child is constantly, carry out wet cleaning 2 times a day.
Step 6
In the room where the child is constantly, put a saucer with a small amount of finely chopped garlic and onions. The phytoncides included in their composition are capable of killing infectious agents.
Step 7
If a child has a runny nose, put 1 drop of breast milk into each nostril - it is not only a universal food, but also a medicine, especially in the first months of a baby's life. If the baby is bottle-fed, give another drop. To do this, consult a pediatrician.
Step 8
Talk to your pediatrician about medications for the prevention of colds, and give them to your child and other family members until you are fully recovered.
Step 9
Maintain a certain temperature in the baby's room. It should be 18-20 degrees. Remember that overheating for a baby is just as undesirable as hypothermia. In addition, carry out tempering procedures with the child.
Step 10
Forget about the guests during the period of massive colds. Do not go anywhere and do not invite to yourself. Relatives and friends will definitely understand you and will not take offense.
