Step 1
Start teaching your child to dress on their own from about 1, 5 years old. From this age, the child develops visual-active thinking. He learns to interact with objects, to understand their purpose. Step 2
First, show how the simplest things are put on, for example felt boots, mittens, etc. That is, such items of clothing in which there are no complex fasteners, locks and ties. With the successful solution of this task, the baby will become interested in the process. Be sure to praise your child for his success in this difficult business for him. In kindergarten or on a visit, set your child up as an example for children who still don't know how to dress. This will increase the baby's self-esteem, which will have a positive effect on his desire for independence.

Arouse the child's interest in dressing up with the doll. She outwardly most resembles a person. Use the play method, ask the child to dress the doll for a walk. At the same time, say that he is already an adult, and the doll is small. She does not know how to put on things herself. It is desirable that the doll has a full set of clothes: a T-shirt, underpants, dress, jacket, shoes, hat, coat, scarf. During the game, the child will understand how to put on things. In addition, he will learn the sequence of putting on things. That is, first you need to put on linen on the doll, then a dress, a jacket, and so on. Be patient. It is unacceptable to rush a child when he is trying to dress on his own. Support him, encourage him. Let him see that you are proud of him. This will be a good incentive for his further actions. Expressing dissatisfaction with the fact that you have to wait a long time for the child to get dressed, you show your nervousness. This condition will immediately spread to the child, and he will also become nervous. As a result - unnecessary whims and nerves.

Encourage your child to put on their own clothes. Let him try, learn, consolidating the shown actions. You should not do for him what, in your opinion, it is too early for him to learn. By limiting the child in his aspirations for independence, you yourself gradually bring up laziness in him. Over time, he will not even attempt to do something himself. In the future, it is very difficult for such children to adapt to an adult, independent life.
